... is our battle cry! The Faith Striders are a group of men and women who have decided to come together to work towards a common goal in this community and abroad. Cancer  has no respect for age, race, sex, economic status, medical coverage or ethnicity. It was in 2006 when a dear friend of our leader (Angela Spencer) was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was at this time, that our leader knew more had to be done. The fight began for the Faith Striders at that time.  Our endeavors stretch from Maryland, Washington DC, New York, North Carolina and Texas. We have participated in numerous walks for the cure to aid in breast cancer research. Our total fundraising efforts for Avon Walk for the Cure, Susan G. Komen and the American Cancer Society, exceed $60,000.
